The United States is the world's leading importer country of artificial graphite. In 2022, the North American country imported 112.7 thousand metric tons of the mineral, with a value of 490.8 million U.S. dollars. Ranking second was Poland, which imported some 471.54 million U.S. dollars of graphite. That year, China was the top exporting country of artificial graphite worldwide, with an export value that amounted to nearly 1.16 billion U.S. dollars.
