Number of registered requests of child marriage in Morocco 2018-2020, by gender
As of 2020, Morocco registered a total of 21,373 requests of child marriage. The vast majority involved female minors, accounting for 21,285 requests. In the previous year, there had been over 33,000 child marriage requests in the country and only 239 involved boys.
