Egypt: activities in first half of Ramadan 2021

Based on a survey conducted in Egypt after Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2021, 55 percent of the respondents associated the first half of Ramadan with adjusting to new routines. Further, 46 percent reported the first half of Ramadan being connected with religious worship, while individuals reporting that Ramadan was affiliated with time for self-improvement, and time to cleanse the body and mind amounted to 41 percent each.
