In Sweden, the share of people born between 1985 and 1994 who entered into higher education in 2020 was higher among people with a Swedish background than among those with a foreign background. The share was around 45 percent for those with a Swedish background, compared to around 40 percent for those with a foreign background. Moreover, the share was slightly higher among those born in 1994 than those born in 1985 for both groups.
