Electricity generated from coal in Nigeria 2000-2022
In Nigeria, 570 gigawatt hours of electricity were generated from coal in 2022. In the preceding year, the amount was the same, but in 2020 it stood at 540-gigawatt hours. In the observed period, the contribution of coal to electricity production in the country fluctuated, peaking in 2004 at 930-gigawatt hours.
