
Change in monthly online fashion retail sales in France 2022
The COVID-19 pandemic marked a shift in online retail sales for fashion brands in France. Between January and April 2022, monthly sales registered a double-digit positive trend compared to pre-pandemic levels. For instance, in April 2022, e-fashion sales grew 79 percent compared to the same period in 2019. On the other hand, in comparison with 2021, monthly sales showed a negative trend, falling by 54 percent.
