In 2022, the value of total collected royalties from petroleum sales in Thailand amounted to approximately 35.3 billion Thai baht, with 32.3 billion Thai baht remitted to the treasury. Around 60 percent of total petroleum sales royalties are usually distributed to smaller municipalities and administrations as a source of revenue.
