ESG priorities for investors worldwide 2022
Based on a survey carried out in September and October 2022, 83 percent of investors worldwide believed that being innovative should be the top ESG priority for business in 2022. 69 percent of the respondents believed that seeking profitable financial performance should also be prioritized. Ensuring data security and privacy was marked as a priority by 51 percent of the respondents. Based on the survey, further important issues include ensuring effective corporate governance (49 percent), reducing greenhouse gas emissions (44 percent), and ensuring responsible supply chain practices (36 percent).
