North East was the region with the lowest salary in England and Wales at 711 British pounds per week. Meanwhile, the average weekly wage of construction workers in Wales was 850 British pounds. Meanwhile, the weekly earnings in the construction sector in the UK as a whole amounted to 716 British pounds.
