The prices of ready-mixed concrete in the United Kingdom (UK) increased by over seven percent between 2015 and 2021. However, biggest increase in the cost of cement and concrete products occurred in 2022. The price of concrete reinforcing bars grew by 118 percent between 2015 and August 2022. These figures are an index based on the prices of 2015, which have been set at 100. This serves the purpose of showing the price evolution of this construction material.
