Tax revenue from gambling in Bolivia 1990-2020
Tax revenue collected from gambling activities in Bolivia nearly halved in 2020 compared to the previous year. Specifically, taxes on gambling provided a return of around 47 million bolivianos in 2020 (roughly 6.8 million U.S. dollars based on the exchange rate of December 31, 2020). By contrast, the South American country generated 88 million bolivianos from taxes on gambling in 2019.
