Share of young people who have talked about disaster preparation Japan 2022
According to a survey that was conducted in August 2022 in Japan, around 55 percent of respondents stated that they had not talked to family and friends about disaster preparation within the past year. Since Japan is situated along the Ring of Fire, an area where several tectonic plates meet, it is vulnerable to natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions.
