Share of population aged under 15 years Vietnam 2009-2021
In 2021, the share of the population aged under 15 years in Vietnam was approximately 24 percent. The share of the young population aged under 15 years had fluctuated slightly since 2009 across the country. The aging index in Vietnam saw a slight increase in 2021 which indicates that there were more people aged 60 years and above than every child aged under 15 years.
