A survey conducted across India in 2022 revealed that influencers had a strong hold on their audience's purchase-related decision making, with 59 percent of respondents reporting that they were more likely to try a product that was recommended by their favorite influencer. This was followed by 52 percent of respondents admitting that they made purchases based on recommendations made by influencers.
