Between 2013 and 2022, varicella vaccination coverage among two-year-old children in Italy increased consistently. The lowest value was registered in 2015, when around 30.7 percent of two-year-olds in the country were vaccinated against this disease. As of 2022, the share of vaccinated children born in 2020 was equal to 93.35 percent.
