Loan portfolio of commercial banks in Mexico 2023

Several of the commercial banks with the largest loan portfolios in Mexico as of June 2023 were branches of international banks. BBVA México was leading the ranking with 1.58 trillion Mexican pesos worth of loans in their portfolio. Banorte, a Mexican bank, was the second on the list, with its loan portfolio amounting to 956 billion Mexican pesos. JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America were the U.S. banks with the most consumer loans in 2022.
