Copper companies global equity share ranking 2022

As of 2022, Codelco was the largest copper mining company in the world based on equity shares of copper mine production. That year Codelco accounted for 1,553 equity shares, followed closely by Freeport-McMoRan with 1,528 equity shares. The world's 10 leading copper producing companies worldwide based on equity shares of copper mine production accounted for approximately 42 percent of the total global copper mine production in 2022.
