U.S. positive experiences with police 2023, by race
According to a survey conducted in 2023, Black Americans were found less likely than White or Hispanic Americans to say that they had a positive experience with the police in the past 12 months in the United States. While 90 percent of White Americans reported that they were treated fairly by the police, only 71 percent of Black Americans shared this belief.
