Global mineral commodities expected to underperform 2023
According to 156 decision makers in the global mining and metals industry who participated in a survey from December 2022 to January 2023, a 28 percent share of the respondents stated that iron ore was the most likely to underperform on the global market in 2023. Coal proceeded to come in second place in the survey, with over 20 percent of the respondents stating that they believed coal would be the most likely to underperform that year.
