Global cobalt demand 2021-2030, by end use
It is forecast that in 2030, e-mobility batteries alone will account for an estimated 176,000 metric tons of cobalt demand worldwide. In contrast, non-battery applications of cobalt is only expected to amount to 65,000 metric tons of cobalt demand globally by that year.
