Claims value for medicine in South Korea 2017-2022, by patient status
In 2022, patients in South Korea had claims worth around 230.5 trillion South Korean won for paid medication. Over 87 percent of these claims came from outpatients, at a value of about 201.9 trillion won, with the rest coming from inpatients.
