Share of French who declared they had financial difficulties in the past year in 2023
According to a survey conducted in December 2023, 38 percent of French respondents who earned less than 1,000 euros net per month declared they had financial difficulties in the past 12 months. On the other hand, only 14 percent of French respondents who received more than 2,500 euros net per month declared they had financial problems during the past year.
