Law school admission rates U.S. 2018-2022, by gender
Between 2018 and 2022, the gender share of law school admissions in the United States stayed largely the same. The share of women having their admission accepted decreased by three percent during this period, whereas the share of men who had their admission accepted decreased by four percent. Despite men seeing a greater decrease, they remained the gender with the highest rate of admissions. Discrepancies in the totals not adding up to 100 percent were owed to those who chose not to disclose their gender and those who identify as nonbinary or genderqueer/gender-fluid.
