CMO timeline to participate in the metaverse Saudi Arabia 2022
In a survey conducted in 2022, 42 percent of chief marketing officers in Saudi Arabia said that their brand was planning to actively participate in the metaverse within the next 12 months. At the time of the survey, 40 percent of brands in the country were already actively engaged in the metaverse. Only two percent of CMOs said that they currently have no plans to expand into the metaverse, and four percent said that their plans to enter the space were still more than two years away.
