Share of frequent ride-hailing users in Kolkata, India 2023, by gender and age
In a survey conducted in 2023 in Kolkata, India, 33 percent of the male ride-hailing service users were between 30 to 39 years old. On the other hand, 37 percent of the female users were under the age of 29. Majority of the surveyed women were working, yet the average female labor force participation rates in 2022 was 37 percent in India.
