Annual growth in DMF holding in NSE listed companies in India FY 2016-2024
In fiscal year 2024, the annual growth of active and passive domestic mutual funds in National Stock Exchange-listed companies in India was 42.4 percent and 33.1 percent, respectively. This was an increase from the previous year when annual growth was about 8.7 percent and 16.9 percent. Active mutual funds are those managed by the fund manager, while passive funds track an index by replicating its underlying assets.
