Executives' views on post-incident coverage of cyber insurance 2024
In 2024, a significant share of C-level executives stated that the restoration of data after a cyber incident should be provided as a service while purchasing a cyber insurance policy. The proportion of experienced professionals who perceived the restoration of data as an essential post-incident service by cyber insurers was 70 percent. Other services that were viewed as important parts of insurance solutions were having a 24-hour help hotline and forensic services after an incident as a part of the policy.
