Cyber insurance claims for U.S. packaged policies 2015-2021
In 2021, about three quarters of cyber insurance claims submitted for packaged policies in the United States were for first party claims. In that year, approximately 9,350 first party claims were filed for packaged cyber insurance policies and only 2,950 third party claims were filed. The gap was similar for claims for standalone cyber insurance policies.
