Corporations in the United States made profits totaling three trillion U.S. dollars in the third quarter of 2022. This is a slight decrease compared to the record breaking second quarter of 2022. The corporate profits are defined as the net income of corporations in the National Income and Product Accounts (NIPA). The presented data include inventory valuation and capital consumption adjustments.
