In 2021, the company generated worldwide revenue of 51 billion U.S. dollars, up from 41.75 billion U.S. dollars in 2020. North America remained Caterpillar's most important market and the Construction Industries segment contributed with 22.1 billion U.S. dollars to Caterpillar's revenue stream.
