Caterpillar's GHG emissions intensity worldwide 2018-2022
Caterpillar's greenhouse gas emissions intensity was 25.07 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent per million dollars of sales and revenue in 2022. This was a reduction of 38 percent from the company's 2018 GHG emissions intensity. Caterpillar has set a target of reducing absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 30 percent by 2030, relative to the 2018 baseline.
