Scottish independence: Confidence about predicting the effects 2014 survey This statistic shows a distribution of respondents to a survey question designed to find out how confident those residing in Scotland are about how the country would be effected if, in September 2014, people voted 'yes' for independence from the United Kingdom. In January 2014 the majority of respondents (60 percent) said they were, to some degree, unsure about what would happen.
