Livestock carriers registered in Great Britain by weight class 2010-2020
The collective number of livestock carriers registered in Great Britain experienced a general increase from 2010 to 2019 increased, before dipping in 2020. Over this period 2017 and 2018 recorded the highest number of vehicles, with 4,500 vehicles for each year. As the vehicles are categorized by weight, the weight class up to 7.5 metric tons experienced the largest increase over the ten year period compared to the other categories. In 2020, this category dropped by some 200 units to 3,400 total registrations.
