This statistic presents the assets of foreign-controlled banking group subsidiaries and branches in the countries of the eurozone (EU euro area) as of 2016. In this time the highest assets were located in foreign-controlled banks in Luxembourg and amounted to 742 billion euros. At the other end of the list at this time was Greece which had approximately 6 billion euros in assets of foreign controlled banking group subsidiaries and branches.
