
Inbound stopover visitor arrivals in Jamaica 2020, by source region
In 2020, the United States and Canada remained the main source markets for international overnight tourism in Jamaica, despite the strong impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In total, the Caribbean country recorded nearly 770 thousand stopover arrivals from these two countries, down by approximately 66 percent versus 2019. Meanwhile, more than 78 thousand overnight visitor arrivals in Jamaica originated in Europe in 2020.
