U.S. highway vehicle fires: civilian injuries 1980-2021

In 2021, there were around 174,000 highway vehicle fires reported in the United States which caused 1,100 civilian injuries. This was a decrease from the previous year, when 1,500 civilians were injured from highway vehicle fires.
