NOx emissions of the mining and quarrying industry in the UK from 1990-2017 This statistic shows the amount of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in the mining and quarrying industry in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2017. Emissions were mostly unchanged for the first 15 years. However, they dropped from 100,300 metric tons to 59,900 metric tons in 2005 and 2013 respectively.
