Life and non-life insurance: gross premium income in Ireland 2010-2019
The gross premium income of life and non-life insurance sectors in Ireland generally increased from 2010 to 2019, albeit with fluctuation. The gross premium income of life insurance companies grew from just over three billion euros in 2010 to over 11.6 billion euros as of 2019. Non-life insurance companies generated a gross premium income of approximately 3.7 billion euros in 2019 - around 680 million euros up from the value recorded in 2010.
