Infant mortality in the Netherlands 1950-2018 This statistic shows the infant mortality per 1,000 live born children in the Netherlands from 1950 to 2018. The graph reveals that the infant mortality decreased dramatically between 1950 and 2013, from 26.7 per 1,000 live born children to 3.3 in 2015. In 2018, the infant mortality rate had increased again, to 3.5 per 1,000 live born children.
