This statistic shows the amount of direct employment opportunities created by the Indian IT-BPM industry for the 2015 financial year, with a forecast for 2016. The IT exports industry in India created some 1.7 million direct employment opportunities in 2015. In the past decade, the Indian IT Industry was revitalized by the massive wave of outsourcing from foreign companies. In 2014, the infrastructure outsourcing service segment accounted for the most IT outsourcing spending in India.
