The economic contribution of travel and tourism in the Netherlands

In 2022, travel and tourism's total contribution to the Netherlands' gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to nearly 89 billion euros. This figure, however, remained below these industries' contribution reported in 2019, before the impact of the pandemic. Similarly, the number of tourism jobs in the Netherlands did not catch up yet with pre-pandemic levels in 2022.
