Distribution of global natural rubber production by region 2018

This statistic shows the distribution of the production of natural rubber worldwide in 2018, by region. In that year, some 91 percent of all of the natural rubber produced in the world was produced in the Asia Pacific region. In spite of the fact that the natural rubber tree is native to South America, less than three percent of the global natural rubber production took place in all of North, Central, and South America as of 2018.
