CIO strategic influence and executive committee membership worldwide 2017

The statistic reveals the share of chief information officers (CIOs) who believe the CIO role is becoming more influential and the share who are a member of the executive committee, in 2016 and 2017. At that time, 71 percent of respondents felt the CIO was gaining strategic influence, and 57 percent of respondents were members of the executive committee of their respective enterprises.
