Number of visitors at the Four Day Marches in Nijmegen 2011-2018
In 2018, there were roughly 1.61 million visitors at the Four Day Marches in Nijmegen. The highest amount of visitors for this event in the 2011 to 2018 time period was seen in 2014, when nearly 2.4 million visitors visited the event. The Four Day Marches in Nijmegen is a walking achievement event for four consecutive days, in which participants are walking a daily route around Nijmegen of 30, 40 or 50 kilometers a day (depending on gender and age). Furthermore, during the event there are festivities in and around the city as well.
