This statistic shows the public perception and opinion among U.S. voters towards the use of renewable energy for electricity generation as of November 2016. During the survey, some 12 percent of the respondents said believed that 26 to 50 percent of their state's electricity comes from renewable sources, while 21 percent stated that at 76 to 100 percent of energy from their state should be from renewable sources.
