Petroleum products traffic at Indian ports FY 2010-2019

In the financial year 2019, the petroleum products traffic handled at Indian ports amounted to around 413 million metric tons. This was the highest petroleum products volume handled by the ports in the last ten years under consideration. About 70 percent of the country's trade by value and 95 percent by volume was done through maritime transport.
