India: coastal cargo share handled by major port 2020

In the financial year 2020, the Paradip port in India had the maximum share of coastal cargo handled across India, at 22 percent. Almost 70 percent of the country's trading value was handled through maritime transport. The port sector of the South Asian country handled over 1.3 billion metric tons of cargo in 2020.
