Iron ore traffic at major Indian ports FY 2004-2019

In the financial year 2019, the iron ore traffic across major Indian ports amounted to about 39 million metric tons. Year-over-year, this volume dropped by around six percent in that year. Almost 70 percent of the country's trading value was handled through maritime transport.
