Average output per ship-berth-day in major Indian ports FY 1991-2019

In the fiscal year 2019, the average output per ship-berth-day across India was about 22 thousand metric tons. Since the financial year 2012, there was a constant increase in the average output per ship-berth-day across the country. The port sector of the South Asian country handled over a billion metric tons of cargo in 2019. A major portion of this cargo was handled by the major ports.
