This statistic shows the percentage of 12th graders in the U.S. that believed steroids were easy or fairly easy to obtain from 1991 to 2019. According to the survey, in 1998, 44.5 percent of 12th graders said that they believed steroids were easy to get, compared to 16.3 percent in 2019. Steroids are performance enhancing drugs that are sometimes used by athletes illegally.
